A Long History of Integrated Assistance

The origins of JAPAN VISA™ lie in PwC Japan’s, Global Visa Solutions (“GVS”) group which was established in 1997 and headed by Dean Page (JAPAN VISA™’s CEO). 

Today, the JAPAN VISA™ team has a long history of providing integrated assistance to both large and small clients doing business in Japan. As a member of the AA Professional Services Group, our immigration capacity is complemented by former Big 4 professionals who can guide clients through corporate set-up as well as the individual and corporate tax issues often associated with.

Management Team

Kentaro Fujii – Immigration Attorney (Japan)

Kentaro is a qualified Japanese immigration attorney (“gyoseishoshi”). He has more than 15 years’ experience helping foreign companies with their immigration requirements in Japan. He regularly assists with a full range of employment-based applications including Investor / Business manager, Specialist in Humanities / International Relations, Engineer, and Inter-Company Transferee visas. He also handles more complex matters including immigration issues that arise from corporate mergers and acquisitions. He regularly assists clients with applications for Japan permanent residence and naturalization (citizenship).

Kentaro’s previous experience includes working for an international trading house in Singapore and several years at an immigration law office in Tokyo.
Kentaro studied law at Niigata University in Japan. He also studied at the law school of the University of Windsor in Canada.

Dean Page – Administrative Partner

Dean is JAPAN VISA™’s CEO. He is a leading expert on international tax and on doing business in Japan. Dean worked for seven years in the Big 4, most recently as a partner at Ernst & Young (E&Y). At E&Y he served as the inbound account leader in which role he had responsibility for overseeing the delivery of services to E&Y Japan’s foreign clients. At PricewaterhouseCoopers (“PwC”), Dean established and was head of, PwC Japan’s Global Visa Solutions group. In that role, he provided integrated visa, tax, and payroll solutions to foreign companies in Japan. He also headed PwC’s Pathfinder Group; a team that assisted foreign clients in all aspects of establishing operations in Japan. Since 2001, Dean has been an Adjunct Professor at Temple University’s, Beasley School of Law (Japan Campus) where he teaches international tax and international business transactions. Dean is admitted as both an attorney (USA, California) and as a CPA (USA, California).
